About Us
The Centre for Aging + Brain Health Innovation (CABHI), powered by Baycrest, is at the forefront of driving innovation in aging and brain health. Guided by our vision of a world where every older person lives with purpose, fulfilment, and dignity, we work to drive the development and adoption of transformative aging and brain health innovations.
We accelerate innovation adoption by connecting innovators with those who will benefit most from their solutions: older persons, caregivers, clinicians, and system partners. To date, we have supported over 500 solutions that help older persons, including those impacted by dementia, live healthier, more meaningful lives. At CABHI, we are building a future where aging is shaped by lived experience, powered by innovation, and driven by system-wide collaboration.
Job Summary
Reporting to the Director, Programs and Strategy, the Product Manager, Services is responsible for coordinating the development, delivery, evaluation, and continuous improvement of CABHI’s portfolio of value-added services for innovators. Key Responsibilities:
Service Portfolio Management & Improvement
- Coordinate the development, delivery, evaluation, and continuous improvement of CABHI’s value-added services across teams and service owners.
- Maintain an integrated view of service purpose, ownership, delivery models, capacity, timelines, and intended outcomes; identify gaps and resolve delivery challenges collaboratively.
- Use innovator needs and service evidence to recommend services for improvement, introduction, expansion, relaunch, or retirement, and support implementation of approved changes.
Service Delivery (Leap)
- Oversee the delivery and continuous improvement of Leap as a core service for end-user engagement.
- Plan and deliver focus groups, surveys, interviews, and other engagement activities, including recruitment, facilitation, and reporting.
- Translate feedback from older adults and caregivers into actionable insights for innovators and CABHI teams.
Service Access & Innovator Experience
- Coordinate service intake, navigation, matching, scheduling, communication, and follow-up to ensure innovators can access appropriate support.
- Deliver or co-deliver selected services, workshops, and learning activities, and coordinate resolution of service-related questions or issues with the appropriate owners.
Measurement, Evaluation & Reporting
- Develop service-level measures with the Corporate Performance and Evaluation team and service owners; track utilization, quality, satisfaction, outcomes, demand, and capacity.
- Analyze service data and feedback to identify trends and improvement opportunities and provide regular portfolio updates and practical recommendations to the Director, Programs and Strategy.
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Work with internal service owners and program teams to clarify responsibilities, coordinate delivery, strengthen handoffs, and address service issues.
- Build relationships with ecosystem partners, experts, and external service providers that contribute to CABHI’s services.
- Maintain an engaged innovator and alumni community that supports peer learning, mentorship, networking, and collaboration.
Service Operations & Team Coordination
- Provide indirect day-to-day guidance and task coordination to Programs Specialists assigned to service activities, including priorities, deliverables, and follow-up.
- Maintain service descriptions, intake requirements, workflows, documentation, and feedback processes to support consistent and timely delivery.
- Embed accessibility and inclusivity into services and contribute to cross-functional program operations and other duties as required.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, innovation, health sciences, entrepreneurship, project management, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience working with startups, innovation programs, accelerators, incubators, or entrepreneur support services.
- Experience coordinating programs or services involving multiple internal and external stakeholders, including contributors across decentralized teams.
- Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple services, priorities, and timelines.
- Experience gathering and using client feedback, service data, and performance measures to improve program or service delivery.
- Strong facilitation, communication, and relationship-building skills, including comfort working directly with innovators, partners, older adults, and caregivers.
- Ability to identify operational challenges, collaborate with service owners on practical solutions, and make well-supported recommendations for improvement.
Preferred:
- Knowledge of healthcare innovation, aging and brain health, AgeTech, or the Canadian innovation ecosystem.
