Heavy Equipment Outside Parts & Service Advisor - Agriculture

Our  Stettler branch is looking for an exceptional individual to join our team as a  Heavy Equipment Outside Parts & Service Advisor for our Agriculture Division (John Deere). The Heavy Equipment Outside Parts & Service Advisor is an outside sales position responsible for promoting and selling Agricultural parts and service as well as providing after sales support to existing and new customers.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Keeping customers current on new products and services
• Increasing parts and service sales
• Implement yearly territory plan
• Work cooperatively with management to meet budget goals and expand customer base
• Plan, develop and communicate territory coverage to maximize sales potential.
• Make regular scheduled calls to current and prospective customers
• Maintain records of customer and fleet accounts
• Other duties as assigned

Required Skills

• Extensive knowledge of heavy equipment parts, operations and industry
• Strong decision making skills
• Ability to manage time effectively
• Ability to build strong customer relationships
• Ability to travel within the territory and work flexible hours
• Valid Driver’s License and clean drivers abstract

Required Experience

• 2 - 3 years previous sales experience in a similar role preferred
