Brandt is currently seeking a Sales Manager for our Nanaimo location.

The Sales Manager will be responsible for achieving sales growth and profitability of the wholegoods department.

 

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Achieving asset management goals of turn and aging as well as protection of company assets, including but not limited to new and used wholegood inventory
  • Providing for the right mix of inventory to achieve sales and market share goals
  • Management and development of all employees in the Sales Department with the goal of building a motivated and successful workforce focused on long-term success for the company, customers, and employees
  • Achieving market share goals as agreed for the long-term success of our manufacturer and the company
  • Providing feedback and input into future opportunities and competitive pressures
  • Assisting in the management of branch account receivables in conjunctions with the Director of Credit Services and VPO of Operations
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Skills

  • Must be able to build and maintain lasting relationships with corporate departments key business partners, and customers
  • Confident decision making skills in regards to financial transactions, sales strategy, budgeting, and forecasting
  • High level of critical and logical thinking, analysis, and reasoning
  • Must be available to travel as needed; a recent driver's abstract will be required

 


Required Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred
  • 7+ years’ direct work experience in a sales management capacity
  • Experience in the heavy equipment industry strongly preferred
