Brandt is currently looking for a the  Executive Housekeeper for a private estates residence in Regina. This position  will be responsible for properly maintaining the interior of a private estates residence and assisting in additional property duties as required. The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of the day-to-day cleaning services that must have a keen eye for detail, be reliable and have a service-oriented mindset to ensure work is completed at the highest level of standards to preserve the value and integrity of the private estates’ interior. The Executive Housekeeper must be a self-starter who takes the initiative with a deep passion for organization and cleanliness.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Perform daily housekeeping duties to the highest standard of service at the main residence and other properties as requested
  • Execute seasonal and scheduled housekeeping tasks
  • Check and report any burned our systems, light bulbs and or repairs that need to be completed for the interior properties
  •   Perform and manage laundry needs; sort, wash, iron, fold and manage dry cleaning; hand wash special items, iron garments, execute minor clothing repairs
  • Coordinate dry-cleaning of garments and assist with guest care
  • Help with outdoor cleaning projects.
  • Maintain inventory of cleaning products and supplies, communicate if certain items need replacing (soaps, soaps, beauty products, personal use items, medication etc.
  • Ensure all cleaning equipment & housekeeping tools are maintained and in good working order
  • Help with events and assist employees as needed
  • Any additional duties requested from time to time that may include running errands and transporting items between properties

Required Skills

  • Able to work independently, multi-task and establish priorities; willing to tarin other housekeepers
  • Fluent in English and an effective communicator
  • Maintain a professional demeanor/appearance and ability to maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift, push and pull up to approx. 50lbs) including ability to reach, kneel, squat, crouch, bend and crawl.
  • Must be willing to have a flexible schedule
  • Must have own vehicle with a valid driver’s licenses, as some travel between properties will be required

Required Experience

  • Good knowledge and experience in the care of fine furnishings, special surfaces, valuables, specialty clothing/linens, artwork, and antiques
  • Clean criminal background check that must pass an in-depth background investigation, including a cyber/social media risk evaluation
