The Fleet Coordinator is responsible for the ordering, outfitting, deployment and replacement of all Brandt fleet assets and related services through a planned approach in order to obtain best value for Brandt. This position is the central point of contact with the vehicle suppliers and provides support to branches and manufacturing plants.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Procurement of new fleet assets for all Brandt entities (vehicles, trailers, forklifts, mobile equipment) ensuring best price is obtained while meeting required specifications.
- Assist Branches and manufacturing plants in maintenance, authorization and control of all fleet assets.
- Disposal of fleet assets according to Brandt policy.
- Manage Vendor relationships with dealerships and other suppliers to ensure Brandt receives best price and preferred service. Monitor insurance documents (plates, permits) and manage renewals to ensure coverage.
- Maintain awareness of fleet related regulatory requirements and advise Operations and management of implications of changes in the regulatory environment.
- Accident and insurance administration for fleet assets.
- Traffic citation administration.
- Distribution and control of all fuel purchase cards; monitor fuel purchases and identify opportunities for additional savings based on usage patterns.
- Verify billing accuracy of all fleet related invoices
- Prepare Purchase Orders for Management signatures, as needed to support fleet operations, after sourcing and negotiating sufficiently to ensure best price and value are obtained for Brandt.
- Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills
- Self-motivated individual, able to work alone and as part of a team.
- Some post-secondary education in business administration is an asset but not required.
- Problem solving skills; ability to assess situations; evaluate options and select and act upon best solution.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint).
- Experience using an ERP package.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driver’s abstract.
- Detail oriented and able to Multi Task.
- Good interpersonal skills; strong written and verbal communication skills.
