We are seeking a highly organized, customer-focused Service Advisor to support the efficient receipt, processing, and return of goods brought in for repair, maintenance, or upgrade.  This role plays a critical part in creating a professional and friendly environment while ensuring smooth operations within our Service Department.

What you will be doing:

  • Receive all incoming items for repair or service, accurately record customer information and concerns, and clearly explain service processes.
  • Open, manage, and close work orders in a timely and organized manner. 
  • Ensure that all relevant information is collected and provided to the service technicians.
  • Arrange logistics for equipment into and out of the service department
  • Maintain communication with customer during the work and ensure a perfect delivery of the completed job

Required Skills

Our ideal candidate has some of the following skills:

  • Mechanical aptitude, including understanding of basic mechanical systems
  • Familiarity with agriculture and large ag equipment
  • Ability to provide above average customer service on the phone and in person
  • Ability to shift priorities and switch tasks
  • Organized, detail oriented, and great follow up skills
  • Typing 30 wpm+
  • Familiar with computerized operations, Microsoft Office programs, able to learn new systems
  • Adaptable: Demonstrated ability to continuously learn new things and apply new information
  • Current driver's license and clean abstract are required

Required Experience

  • High school completion, post secondary training would be an asset
  • Technical/mechanical qualifications would be an asset
  • Excellent customer service and customer relationship skills
  • Cheerful disposition, positive "can do" attitude, good public presentation
  • 1-3 years experience in a busy Service Center or Repair Shop would be an asset
