Our Portage la Prairie location has a new career opportunity!  We are looking for a Turf and Compact Construction Equipment Sales Coordinator.  This position is to ensure accurate completion of sales paperwork for both the organization and the customer, while also ensuring that when equipment is sold, it's properly accounted for in the business system.  Also, to provide coverage for the primary salesperson by selling equipment to customers.

What you will be doing:

  • Complete bills of sale for all turf and compact construction equipment sales;
  • Create sales invoices in the business system;
  • Equipment sales when primary salesperson is busy or away;
  • Tag demo and rental units in the business system, open and close traffic logs for these units, and complete demo and rental agreements for these contracts:
  • Setup used stock numbers in the business system and ensure that unit descriptions, prices and pictures are entered properly;
  • Stay current with all available options for value-added services for customers;
  • Ensuring marketing material is organized and replenished as necessary;
  • Assist with the coordination of customer deliveries;
  • Coordinate with Parts for orders related to new equipment sales;
  • Work with Service on the priority of customer work related to new equipment sales;
  • Assist with equipment audits.

Required Skills

  • Knowledge of, and experience with, financial terms, conditions and processes
  • Keying 40 wpm, familiar with Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel
  • Experience with sales process or willing to learn
  • Familiarity with our products is an asset
  • Be able to interact with customers in a friendly and professional way

Required Experience

  • High school completion
  • Excellent organization and time management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
