As the Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), you will play a key leadership role in driving financial planning, analysis, and decision support across the organization. In this position, you will oversee and manage the development of financial forecasts, provide senior leadership with insightful analysis, and act as a business partner to key stakeholders across various functions. Your strategic insights will contribute directly to the organization's overall success and help guide informed decision-making.
Reporting to the Director, FP&A, this role is responsible for:
Key Responsibilities:

Lead FP&A: Mentor and lead Financial analysts, working on the development and maintenance of short-term and long-term financial forecasts, including revenue, earnings, working capital, cash flows, and bank covenants, ensuring timely and accurate distribution to senior leadership, shareholders, and lenders.

Sales and Marketing Collaboration: Work closely with Sales and Marketing teams to forecast and monitor sales expectations across monthly, quarterly, annual, and multi-year periods. Integrate sales funnel analysis and upside/downside scenarios to refine forecasts.

Annual Budget Process: Lead the preparation and consolidation of annual operating and capital budgets, ensuring alignment with baseline earnings, working capital, cash flow, and other complex analyses. Prepare budget presentations and work closely with key stakeholders to achieve budgetary goals.

Business Partnering & Performance Monitoring: Provide valuable business and financial insights to all functional areas and product lines. Monitor performance against plan, review trends, and communicate variances to managers and senior leaders for corrective action.

Financial Modeling & Business Cases: Assist operations teams in preparing business cases and financial models, including sensitivity analyses, to evaluate the impact of proposed projects and initiatives. Provide guidance on optimizing business performance and mitigating risks.

Trend and Run-Rate Analysis: Develop trend analyses and run-rate evaluations to identify opportunities for cost savings and potential risks. Ensure the organization meets budget and forecast targets.

Advanced Financial Modeling: Oversee the development of complex financial models to assess profitability by product, product group, and channel. This includes overhead allocation and the ability to support pricing strategies across product lines.

KPI Development & Reporting: Lead the development and maintenance of key financial performance indicators (KPIs). Prepare and present detailed reports on KPIs to senior management, offering actionable insights to guide business decisions.

Ad-Hoc Reporting: Prepare additional reports as needed, addressing both internal and external stakeholder needs. Assist in ad-hoc financial analysis as required by management.

Process Improvement: Continuously identify opportunities to streamline financial processes, improve data quality, and enhance reporting capabilities.

Required Experience
- CPA or CFA designation is preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience in an senior analytical finance role, within a service-oriented financial services organization is preferable, along with demonstrated proficiency in complex financial analysis and problem solving.
- Proven experience building credibility and relationships with internal stakeholders across business lines in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior people management experience is a plus.
