Dealer partnerships are complimented with the strong backing and support of their automotive manufacturing brands, which include BMW/MINI, Kia, Mazda, Volvo, Jaguar/Land Rover Range Rover, Mitsubishi Motors, Polestar and Motorrad. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain data pipelines for daily ETL processes, data collection and ingestion from external sources, and optimal data flow between different LGM systems and environments, in Azure cloud and on premisses.
  • Design, test and implement Data Marts and Data Warehouse using standard dimensional modeling techniques.
  • SQL development in MS SQL Server, including advanced tuning of queries, data structure design, troubleshooting of production issues, and providing technical assistance regarding problems and technical questions.
  • Define, develop, and maintain data presentation and visualization, including reports written in SSRS and Power BI
  • Manipulate, store and extract information from non structured data sets.
  • Participate in corporate data governance, providing foundational data consistency and assisting with business analysis.
  • Be highly responsive to critical production issues providing timely and effective solutions.
  • Participate in code reviews both as a reviewer and as a reviewee, in a respectful way that facilitates skill building for all team members.
  • Engage in all aspects of the Agile process, proactively contributing to improvements in the processes to minimize rework/waste and increase quality and velocity.
  • Keep abreast of software industry best practices, processes, and technologies. Actively encourage their adoption within the Sprint Team and LGM.

Required Skills:

  • Experience with Data Warehouse theory, design, and ETL development
  • Advanced TSQL skills including query tuning, database internals, and data structure design
  • Ability to create and maintain reports with SSRS and Power BI
  • Azure components and concepts (Data Factory, Data Lakes, Data Bricks, etc)
  • Exceptional communication skills including verbal, documentation, and presentation.
  • Ability to think creatively.
  • Nice to have:
    • TDWI certification
    • SSIS package creation and maintenance
    • Powershell scripting
    • Python and/or R and Machine Learning
    • MDX / DAX / Tabular modeling

 

Education:

  • Post-secondary education in Computer Science or related discipline

 

Experience:

  • 3+ years development and maintenance of Data Warehouses and ETL processes
