The Role

Operating in a territory that includes Eastern Ontario, Ottawa, and Northern Ontario, and reporting to the OEM Director, Dealer Development (ON/AT), this role is responsible for supporting automotive dealers representing the Mitsubishi and Mazda brands.

 

Key Accountabilities include:

  • Maintaining and strengthening existing dealer relationships.

  • Partnering with OEM field teams to drive penetration and participation in branded programs.

  • Engaging non-participating dealers to demonstrate the value of offering branded OEM program products and services to their customers.


What a Day Looks Like:

  • Engage with dealers to strengthen relationships with our branded partners.

  • Conduct dealership visits to sustain and grow performance in existing accounts.

  • Support dealers in driving profitability within the Business Office.

  • Help improve overall dealership productivity and operational performance.

  • Train and coach dealership personnel on products in collaboration with our Dealer Training team.

  • Work closely with the OEM Program Manager for Mitsubishi and Mazda to ensure brand performance expectations are consistently achieved.

  • Actively contribute as a member of the Mitsubishi/Mazda cohort, bringing top performance and collaboration to everything you do.

  • Deliver a best-in-class service experience to both existing and prospective dealerships.

  • Track and report quantifiable daily results from activities.

  • Provide dealers and partners with clear visibility into monthly performance outcomes.

  • Partner with the Director of Sales Effectiveness to lead quarterly business reviews with active dealerships in the territory.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of experience as an automotive representative
  • Willingness and ability to travel for work
  • F&I experience (preferred)
  • Ability to manage ambiguity with maturity and sound judgment
  • Proven success in a challenging automotive sales environment
  • Strong track record of driving performance in an indirect sales structure
  • A winning, team-oriented mindset — leading by example and setting the pace
  • Proficiency with MS Office suite
 

Education

  • Post-secondary education required
  • Willingness to complete requisite licensing programs (as applicable)
