Ultrasound Clinical Coordinator

Dear Diagnostic Imaging Team,

Expressions of interest are being accepted from members of the OPSEU Paramedical bargaining unit who wish to work as Ultrasound Clinical Coordinator. The Ultrasound Clinical Coordinator will act as a key point person for a St. Clair College ultrasound student who will be completing their clinical program requirements at MAHC, from Sept. 8-Dec. 11, 2026.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Scheduling the student in the clinical area
• Participating in and coordinating with other members of the ultrasound team to teach and evaluate student on the required competencies
• Mentoring student to support a successful clinical placement
• Provide feedback and formal evaluations to the student
• Communication and documentation to the college as required

Preference will be given to individuals who possess the following

• Full-time and Part-time employees
• Diagnostic Medical Sonographers currently working at MAHC

Granting of this opportunity shall be based on a number of factors, including previous related experience, the candidate’s demonstrated ability, flexibility and availability, attendance record, and operational need. Training shifts will be scheduled based on current posted schedules and availability of those departments to train.
