The Opportunity
Healthcare workers are lifelong learners, and they need the support and expertise of educators to thrive. MAHC is seeking a Corporate Education Coordinator to enhance our team's educational experience and empower adult learners. In this role, you will design and implement innovative programs that inspire growth and learning. Additionally, you will be responsible for:
- Communicate and coordinate learning opportunities (in person and online)
- Schedule, maintain, and host MAHC General Orientation
- Coordinate annual department education planning across MAHC to inform corporate education budget and tracking thereof
- Ensure that tuition requests are in the approved unit's education plan
- Process all approved education tuition reimbursements
- Actively canvass and communicate with affiliated education institutions to obtain placement requests
- Onboard students
- Build electronic Learning Management System (LMS) learning items
What will I need to join the team?
- Baccalaureate Degree in Education or relevant discipline
- Certificate in Adult Education or Equivalent
- 3-5 years related experience providing program leadership in a healthcare setting, an asset
- Excellent computer skills utilizing Word, Excel, PowerPoint and LMS platforms
- Demonstrated experience in developing and delivering training programs
What shifts will I work?
Our doors are always open to patients in need, but don’t worry—since you're not patient facing your office is open Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Shifts and hours may change based on departmental requirements and organizational needs.
Where will I be working?
This position would have you working in person at either South Muskoka Memorial Hospital (SMMH) located in Bracebridge, Huntsville District Memorial Hospital (HDMH) located in Huntsville, or both!
