OVERVIEW
This leadership role will provide strong, flexible and resilient, support and clinical guidance to the staff in support of the organization’s goals and objectives.
ROLE

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse in good standing with the College of Nurses
- Current certification in BLS, WHMIS, Fire Safety and Non-violent Crisis Intervention / Mandt
- Current certifications in NRP and Fetal Heart Monitoring
- Minimum three years of current Medical Surgical Nursing and/or Obstetrical Care Nursing experience
- Previous experience in a Team Leader or formal Clinical Leadership role
- Superior leadership and interpersonal skills with staff, management, physicians, patients and families
- Excellent computer skills having worked with Microsoft Office Word and Excel
- Hands on expertise and knowledge of Cerner
- OHA Leadership courses/certifications (Desired)

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Location: South Muskoka Memorial Hospital (SMMH) located in Bracebridge. Applicants must reside within 125km of one of our hospital campuses or be willing to relocate prior to starting. *Exceptions will be considered on a case-by-case basis
Hours of Work: Must be available to work shifts including days, evenings, nights and weekends. Shifts and hours may change according to departmental requirements per the collective agreement.
