Interprofessional Practice Committee
We are pleased to announce the re-launch of the Interprofessional Practice (IPP) Committee and are currently seeking expressions of interest from candidates across disciplines to join this important group. The IPP Committee plays a vital role in advancing collaborative, patient-centered care by fostering partnerships between professional groups, enhancing interprofessional communication, and supporting evidence-based practice improvements across the organization.
We invite those who are passionate about teamwork, quality care, and innovation to consider this opportunity. Members of the committee will:
- Contribute to initiatives that strengthen interprofessional collaboration (working together and supporting each other)
- Share front-line perspectives and insights to inform practice change as needed
- Help shape policies, procedures, and education that support integrated care
- Serve as champions for professional practice and collaborative culture
Committee participation involves attending regular meetings, contributing to project work as needed, and supporting the communication of initiatives to your respective teams. The Quality Team will provide support to committee members as needed. Compensation is provided for those who attend meetings outside of scheduled work time, as supported by your manager during business hours.
