As a Medical Radiation Technologist – Nuclear Medicine, you will provide and maintain efficient and effective radiological service to the public in accordance with the goals and objectives of the Department. As part of this role, you will;
- Perform a thorough and accurate nuclear medicine examination in a caring and professional manner
- Complete processing and analysis of images/information acquired
- Review processed data and images to ensure they are of diagnostic quality prior to submitting for reporting
- Identify various pathologies and acquire additional images when appropriate
- Provide thorough and accurate documentation for the interpreting physician
- Assist with cardiac stress testing as per established protocol
Note: MRT-R hires without previous CT experience will be required to provide proof of completion, or, complete relevant CT courses and will be trained into CT by MAHC DI department.

What will I need to join the team?
- Successful completion of an approved MRT NM training program which includes both didactic teaching and supervised clinical experience
- Knowledge and experience with SPECT/CT imaging an asset
- Registration with the CMRITO as a Medical Radiation Technologist, Nuclear Medicine (RT-N)
Note: Registry eligible personnel may be offered a position prior to completion of registry examinations but must provide evidence of successful completion by date of hire.
Where will I be working?
MAHC has two locations to meet Muskoka’s healthcare needs. You could find yourself working at South Muskoka Memorial Hospital (SMMH) located in Bracebridge, Huntsville District Memorial Hospital (HDMH) located in Huntsville, or both!
