ROLE
- Oversee clinical services, ensuring 24-hour quality care and collaboration among stakeholders
- Develop and implement standards, policies, and procedures that align with best practices and the organization's mission
- Manage departmental budgets and operational plans, aligning with strategic goals
- Monitor quality indicators and program performance, identifying areas for improvement
- Conduct performance appraisals for staff, implementing necessary corrective actions
- Facilitate communication among teams, patients, and the community to foster participation and innovation
- Identify and address educational needs for staff in collaboration with leadership and quality teams
- Ensure effective human resource management and recruitment to meet program needs
- Support ongoing fiscal and operational management, including risk and workload analysis
- Mentor team members for professional growth and act as an organizational ambassador in external engagements.
REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & CERTIFICATIONS
- Bachelors degree in Nursing, Nursing Diploma, or Bachelor of Health Administration required
- Master’s Degree in Nursing, Health Care Administration or Related Field is preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive related clinical experience is required
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive leadership experience in a unionized environment
- Current registration with College of Nurses of Ontario in good standing

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Location: Multi-Site, working in person at both the South Muskoka Memorial Hospital (SMMH) located in Bracebridge and Huntsville District Memorial Hospital (HDMH) located in Huntsville.
Hours of Work: Shifts will be Monday to Friday 8 am - 4 pm, however shifts and hours may change according to departmental requirements. You may also be required to be available evenings and weekends.
