As a Security Officer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our patients, staff, and visitors. Responsibilities of this role include maintaining a safe and secure environment, monitoring hospital grounds, ensuring the protection of hospital property and equipment, and supporting patients and staff during emergencies.

What will I need to join the team?

• Community College Law and Security Program or graduate of a recognized Police training facility.
• Current Licensure as a Security Guard with the Private Security & Investigative Services branch of the Ministry of Community Safety & Correctional Services
• Current CPR certification 

Where will I be working?

MAHC has two locations to meet Muskoka’s healthcare needs. You could find yourself working at South Muskoka Memorial Hospital (SMMH) located in Bracebridge, Huntsville District Memorial Hospital (HDMH) located in Huntsville, or both!

What shifts will I work?

Our doors are always open to patients in need allowing us to offer a variety of shift options to accommodate our employees’ diverse schedules and lifestyles.
