Roles and Responsibilities

  • Safely offload trucks and trailers utilizing equipment if necessary
  • Organize material around laydown and inside loading shed
  • Direct traffic around the laydown area
  • Help with snow removal around office trailers and laydown
  • Attend morning toolbox talk and understand priorities for the day
  • Perform all other duties as assigned by the Superintendent

 

Required Skills and Experience

  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and properly organize their time
  • Confident operating telehandler, skid steer, and loader in a congested area
  • Communication with all parties involved to let them know they have received material
  • Able to handle paperwork and distribute to right party
  • Ability to work in adverse weather conditions
  • Telehandler Operator Certificate
  • Forklift Certificate
  • Boom Lift Certificate 
  • Minimum one (1+) year experience in material handling
  • H2S Alive, CSTS, WHMIS, MSDS
